Madrinas is a unique organization dedicated to the leadership development and advancement of Latina professionals. We are committed to celebrating our rich Latino culture. Through the organization we provide mentorship, role models, and we leverage our knowledge and experience to help shape the future of the growing pool of talented professional, Latina women.
Our members are supported through skill-building programs, networking, and mentoring opportunities, in person and virtual forums. Our distinguished “Conversation with Experts" are monthly programs that feature a variety of expert presenters who address key issues, trends, and topics impacting Latinas in the workplace and at home.

Dr. Damary Bonilla-Rodriguez has been selected as one of the 2014 Coors Light Lideres for her work with the community. The group of 12 nominees include philanthropists, mentors, community organizers, and volunteers. The Coors Light 2014 Líder of the Year will walk away with a $25,000 grant to help their nonprofit develop a community program. Arisleyda joined Merrill Lynch in 1994 and focuses on using a systematic approach to developing financial strategies and recommendations to help clients pursue their financial goals. With over 20 years of experience in the wealth management and investment advisory services profession, Arisleyda combines her financial knowledge with a passion for helping individuals match their vision of the life they want with the way they invest it.
Through some historically challenging markets, Arisleyda has remained steadfast, loyal and committed to helping investors with their retirement planning and investment management needs. In her relationship with clients, Arisleyda is positive, caring and enthusiastic. Her dedication and attention are critical components in helping clients prepare for life changing events affecting their family finances.
Arisleyda is a member of the Investment Management Consultant Association, the Junior League of Greenwich, the Women in Leadership at Hofstra University and the board of directors of the Rotary Club of Stamford and the American Red Cross Connecticut . Arisleyda is currently serving as Assistant Governor for Rotary International,
Arisleyda holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® certification, which is the only credential designed specifically for financial professionals who want to attain a level of competency as an advanced investment consultant. Arisleyda also holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor ® designation from the College for Financial Planning. The CRPC program focuses on the pre- and post –retirement needs of individuals allowing Arisleyda to transform the retirement planning process into a positive experience for her clients. Arisleyda earned her M.B.A. in International Business from Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University and her B.S. degree in Finance from State University of New York at Old Westbury. Arisleyda holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations as well as life, health and long term care insurance licenses.
Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Arisleyda is fluent in Spanish. She currently lives in Stamford, Connecticut with her husband Ralf. Arisleyda enjoys golf, tennis and skiing.
