Latinas Empowering Latinas
Madrinas is a unique organization dedicated to the leadership development and advancement of Latina professionals. We are committed to celebrating our rich Latino culture. Through the organization we provide mentorship, role models, and we leverage our knowledge and experience to help shape the future of the growing pool of talented professional, Latina women.
Our members are supported through skill-building programs, networking, and mentoring opportunities, in person and virtual forums. Our distinguished “Conversation with Experts" are monthly programs that feature a variety of expert presenters who address key issues, trends, and topics impacting Latinas in the workplace and at home.
We welcome all who want to share and can benefit from this.
To those of you who joined us for the October "Conversation with Experts", with special guest, Liz Benfanti - thank you. We are confident the insightful discussion was enlightening and supportive of your professional development.
Our monthly programs will continue beginning in January 2014. Supporting the growing number of high-level Latina professionals was the catalyst for the creation in 2002 of Madrinas, a network committed to career advancement, leadership development, and mentorship for Latinas in the workplace across a multitude of industries. We are looking forward to another year of powerful topics and presenters.
We are extremely excited about the future of Madrinas and look forward to have your active participation.
In planning for 2014, committees are open for additional participation. If you have an interest in becoming more involved with Madrinas, as a speaker or committee member, please respond to this email and we will follow-up with you. There are open positions on the following committees: Program, Sponsorship, Membership, Treasury and Communications.
